- 5/11/96: Gulf Coast Community College
The Lifelong Learning Dept. is
offering a weekend course titled Surfing the Internet. Course length is fifteen hours.
Topics will include: Internet history, Internet architecture, hardware and software requirements,
use of software, and techniques for accessing Internet services. Students will have access to
the Internet via classroom computers. The how-to textbook is up-to-date with screen shots of
Windows 95 and the latest software. The textbook also contains an excellent reference section.

- 5/08/96: We have our new server on-line. There were a few adjustments( A Note From Tony ) to be made and we had a few hours of down time. Some
experianced e-mail trouble, but that is now adjusted. Thanks for your support and "Happy Surfing".
- 3/21/96: Thursday morning the server was down for 2.5 hours between the hours of 7:30am & 9:30 am. We were making modifications and
cleaning up files. During the afternoon the server was down for some periods due to resets required when initializing new software.
- 3/16/96: We are still growing... Watch for our server to go on-line. We are constantly updating our hardware to keep up with the
newest in technology and keep a premium service for you. Check here for later details..
- 3/16/96: Coming Soon !!! WebBoard .. A Web Conferencing System. Here on InterCity Oz.
- 3/15/96: World Wide Web update. InterCity Oz and Panama City Beach now have a direct link with MTV covering Spring Break.

comments: I just wanted to say that the information that is provided through this system is great.
Myself and number of my friends are coming to Panama City for our Spring Break! For the past two weeks I have
been looking up all sorts of information about Bay County and PC Beach. I have gained a lot of information about
your area and we are excited about our trip. Thanks to this system we know where the best party spots are and most
importantly where we are going to fall at the end of the night.
This system rocks and I would encourage
everyone to use it to their benefit. Warm weather is very important to those of us who are paying big bucks to
fly out of state so keep up the hard work and hopefully it will pay off with lots of fun in the nice warm sun come

- 2/20/96: Visit our Business EXPO Booth on Feb. 22, at Edgewater Beach Resort & Conference Center, from 4:00 until 8:00.
- 2/10/96 : The server will be down Sunday 11 February from 11am-3pm for routine
maintenance. Please schedule your usage outside this period. Sorry for any
inconvienience this causes.
- InterCity Oz user base has doubled in the last 2 months. We are growing very fast. THANK YOU !!!! Bay County.
- We are now offering 33.6 dial-in speed along with our T- 1 line for the internet. By the end of Feb.'96 we will have 80 operating dial-in lines.
So those of you that are experianceing busy signals on occasion, please bear with us.
